SUCH STORIES

Such Stories is the collaborative design studio of illustrator and ceramicist Laura Carlin and creative director Jo Briggs.

With a love for tile murals, working across both commercial and private commissions we believe in crafting narratives that allow us to pause, celebrating the familiar and allowing for discovery as we seek to tell each unique story of place. Together we work on surfaces spanning ceramics, paper, wood, fabric, metals, walls, floors and doors.

We tell tales. Tall and small. Of fact and fiction. Yore and dinosaur. Romance and stewing pot. Our commissions include designs for hotels, restaurants, retail spaces, guest houses and private residences worldwide.

We work alongside architects and interior studios, as well as in pop-up spaces and exhibits in the UK, Europe, America and Japan.

If there’s any project, collaboration, commercial or private commission you have in mind please do get in touch, we’d love to have a chat about how we could work together.
